Job summary

DoubleVerify in Paris, France is seeking a Sr Data Scientist II to help shape and strengthen the Scibids bidding algorithms. You will drive the evolution of our automation framework and transform business cases into scalable product improvements.

Day-to-day work includes managing end-to-end projects, mentoring junior developers, handling massive datasets, and solving non-routine analytics and scaling challenges. Hybrid work with 3 days in-office in Paris.

Qualifications

• MS degree in applied mathematics or data science.
• 4+ years of professional DS experience with Python/C++.
• Passion for automation and data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities

• Managing projects end-to-end, taking ownership from the initial proof-of-concept phase through to production deployment and monitoring.
• Mentoring junior developers, providing technical guidance, conducting code reviews, and sharing best practices to ensure high code quality.
• Working with massive datasets and millions of variables.
• Solving non-routine analysis problems and scaling/engineering challenges as models are produced.
• Collaborating with commercial and customer success teams to identify new algorithm needs or improvements.
• Automating repetitive processes and developing AI routines where appropriate.
