Swan, Europe’s embedded banking specialist, is seeking an experienced engineer to join Core Infrastructure in Paris. You will help ensure the reliability, scalability, security, and performance of the platforms that support our financial services.

You will take ownership of well-scoped services and improve observability, automate repetitive tasks, and collaborate with development, product, and security teams.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or related field.
• Hands-on in production support and on-call rotations.
• Experience with logs, metrics, dashboards, and tracing.
• Understanding of SLIs/SLOs.
• Cloud infrastructure experience, ideally AWS.
• IaC with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Scripting in Bash, Python, or Go.
• Knowledge of PCI DSS / ISO 27001 is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Serve as primary responder for production incidents and participate in on-call rotation.
• Assess incident impact on transaction volume, revenue, and data integrity.
• Investigate issues using logs, metrics, dashboards, and tracing; document updates.
• Contribute to postmortems and runbooks; improve incident patterns.
• Create dashboards and alerts; define SLIs/SLOs.
• Tune alert thresholds to reduce noise.
• Participate in system design reviews focusing on reliability.
• Implement health checks, retries, circuit breakers, monitoring.
• Manage cloud resources and contribute to IaC with Terraform.
• Write automation scripts in Bash, Python, or Go.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automate maintenance.
• Maintain high standards for safe changes.
• Support security/compliance (PCI DSS, ISO 27001).
• Monitor resource usage and basic capacity/cost optimization.
