Swile is seeking a Staff Security Engineer to strengthen the security of our products, data and engineering platform. This highly technical, hands-on role partners with Engineering to harden systems and evolve our security architecture.

You will identify risks, improve authentication and data protection, perform threat modelling, and build security capabilities into the development lifecycle across teams. Based in Paris, Toulouse or Montpellier with flexible remote work, you will help scale

Qualifications

• Experience building or securing production software and distributed systems.
• Strong expertise across multiple security domains.
• Ability to design systems with least privilege.

Responsabilités

• Identify and reduce high‑impact security risks across apps, APIs and tools.
• Strengthen authentication, authorization and access controls.
• Improve protection of sensitive data.
• Design controls to limit blast radius of breaches.
• Improve security monitoring, auditing and detection.
• Perform threat modelling and targeted reviews.
• Build reusable security capabilities into the engineering platform.
• Contribute to data isolation, encryption and privacy architectures.
• Partner with engineering teams to address systemic risks.
• Where possible, implement security as code rather than docs.
