Job summary

Scaleway is seeking a Presales Solutions Engineer – HPC to own technical engagements from PoC to onboarding. You will translate customers' simulation needs into scalable HPC architectures and collaborate with Sales, Solution, and DevOps teams to deliver successful deployments.

Based in Paris, this hybrid role leverages Scaleway's HPC/cloud portfolio across automotive, energy, aerospace, and space sectors while you deepen expertise in Linux, MPI, Slurm, and cloud storage.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in HPC, numerical simulation, or related field.
• Strong HPC environment knowledge with Linux/Bash, Docker, MPI.
• Experience with Slurm or Lustre in scheduling/storage.

Responsibilities

• Work with customers to understand HPC needs and translate into HPC solutions.
• Lead technical PoCs from requirements gathering to deployment and validation.
• Demonstrate HPC/Cloud solutions to stakeholders.
• Design computing environments matching workloads and simulations.
• Own onboarding and provide ongoing technical support.
• Collaborate with Sales and Solution teams to develop opportunities.
