Job summary

Scaleway is seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the Qarnot HPC/CAE solution, translating industrial customer needs into clear specifications for engineering teams and shaping the roadmap of cloud HPC offerings.

You will collaborate with a squad of engineers to deliver features that advance numerical simulation workflows across aerospace, automotive, and energy sectors, reporting to the Head of Product Compute.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Product Management in technical HPC/CAE environments.
• Strong knowledge of numerical simulation workflows and CAE software.
• Experience defining roadmaps, gathering requirements, and writing specs.
• Technical background enabling collaboration with engineering teams.
• Familiarity with cloud HPC environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the product roadmap for our Qarnot HPC/CAE solution, aligning business priorities, customer needs, and technical opportunities.
• Gather, analyze, and prioritize requirements from industrial customers across sectors such as aerospace, automotive, and energy.
• Write internal and external documentation to enhance our products usage.
• Translate customer needs into clear product specifications and actionable features for engineering teams.
• Work closely with Engineering Managers and developers to coordinate product development, manage priorities, and ensure successful feature delivery.
• Run pre-deployment tests to ensure our features always meet their requirements.
• Develop a deep understanding of numerical simulation workflows and supported CAE software, including Ansys Fluent, STAR-CCM+, OpenFOAM, and CONVERGE.
• Contribute to improving the user experience of our HPC platform, including its interfaces, integrations, and simulation workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure product consistency and technical feasibility.
• Manage multiple product initiatives simultaneously, balancing short-term operational needs with long-term product objectives.
