Job summary

Mistral AI is building a Compute Support team in a hybrid role. You will be the first contact for customers and internal teams, handling compute inquiries with deep Linux and Kubernetes expertise.

You’ll diagnose issues, guide workarounds, and escalate to SRE as needed. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in system administration or infra operations, strong debugging skills, and familiarity with Go for debugging and automation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in system administration, technical support, or infra operations in compute-heavy environments.
• Deep Linux/Unix expertise with kernel debugging and performance tuning.
• Hands-on Kubernetes, container runtimes, and cloud/bare metal experience.
• Proficiency with monitoring tools and scripting for automation.

Responsibilities

• Act as first contact for customers and internal teams, triaging compute issues with SLA awareness.
• Provide deep troubleshooting for Linux, Kubernetes, and compute infrastructure.
• Diagnose performance bottlenecks, hardware failures, and resource contention in distributed systems.
• Analyze logs, metrics, and traces to identify root causes and implement fixes.
• Collaborate with SRE for IaC and Go-based tooling; participate in on-call rotations.
• Create runbooks, post-mortems, and train teams on compute infrastructure best practices.
