Job summary

Voodoo, a Paris-based tech company known for Mob Control and BeReal, is looking for an HR Legal Counsel to support the HR Ops team globally on daily legal questions related to hiring, onboarding, immigration, employment relationships, performance management and offboarding.

You will review HR legal documents across jurisdictions, lead negotiations with potential legal implications, and support international growth including first hires in new countries and EOR vs entity choices, while assisting

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience as a lawyer specializing in labor law or as an in-house HR Legal Counsel.
• Solid legal skills and reasoning.
• Autonomous, organized and structured; adaptable and pragmatic.
• Fluent in French and English, with outstanding communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the HR Ops team globally on daily legal questions related to hiring, onboarding, immigration processes, employment relationships, management of performance, offboarding.
• Review HR legal documentation across jurisdictions including employment contracts, amendments, termination paperwork, etc.
• Take the lead on discussions or negotiations with potential legal implications.
• Support international growth: first hires in new countries, EOR vs. entity trade-offs.
• Support VP HR in management of collective labor relations with employee representatives.

Role

Support the HR Ops team globally on a daily basis on their legal questions relating to hiring, onboarding, immigration processes, employment relationships, management of performance, offboarding

Review HR legal documentation across our jurisdictions including employment contracts, amendments, termination paperwork, etc.

Take the lead on discussions or negotiations that may have legal implications

Support international growth: first hires in new countries, EOR vs. entity trade-offs

Support VP HR in management of collective labor relations with employee representatives

Profile

You have at least 4 years of experience as a Lawyer specializing in labor law, or as an in-house HR Legal Counsel, in a fast-paced, high-growth environment similar to Voodoo

You have solid legal skills and reasoning

You are autonomous, organized and structured

You demonstrate adaptability, reactivity and pragmatism

You have outstanding verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills in French and English

You want to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment
