Voodoo, a Paris-based tech leader, is seeking an HR Legal Counsel to support the HR ops team on hiring, onboarding, immigration, employment relationships, management of performance, and offboarding. You will review HR contracts and amendments and lead discussions with potential legal implications.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years as a labor-law lawyer or in-house HR counsel, strong legal reasoning, autonomy, organization, and fluency in French and English.

Qualifications

• 4+ years experience as a Lawyer specializing in labor law or in-house HR legal counsel.
• Strong reasoning and analytical skills.
• Autonomous, organized and structured approach.
• Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication in French and English.

Responsabilités

• Support HR Ops daily on hiring, onboarding, immigration and employment relationships.
• Review HR legal documents including contracts, amendments and termination paperwork.
• Lead discussions or negotiations with legal implications.
• Support VP HR in managing collective labor relations.

Role

• Support the HR Ops team on a daily basis on their legal questions relating to hiring, onboarding, immigration processes, employment relationships, management of performance, offboarding.

• Review HR legal documentation including employment contract, amendments, termination paperwork, etc.

• Take the lead on discussions or negotiations that may have legal implications.

• Support VP HR in management of collective labor relations with employee representatives.

Profile

• You have at least 4 years of experience as a Lawyer specializing in labor law, or as an in-house HR Legal Counsel, in a fast-paced, high-growth environment similar to Voodoo

• You have solid legal skills and reasoning

• You are autonomous, organized and structured

• You demonstrate adaptability, reactivity and pragmatism

• You have outstanding verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills in French and English

• You want to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment
