IQVIA is seeking the Head of Patient and Instrument Science and Thought Leadership to drive strategic, scientific, and regulatory development of Clinical Outcomes Assessments (COAs) and composite measures. You will ensure patient perspectives are rigorously measured in drug development, regulatory submissions, and commercialization using advanced measurement science.

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in Psychology, Behavioral measurement, Health Services Research, Epidemiology, Pharmacy, Public Health, or related discipline.
  • 10+ years in COA/outcomes research within pharma, CRO, or consultancy with publications.
  • Deep understanding of COA methodology, psychometrics, and regulatory guidelines (FDA/EMA).
  • Excellent scientific writing and communications skills, with senior stakeholder engagement maturity.

Responsabilités

  • Define instrument development strategies across therapeutic areas aligned with goals and regulatory guidance.
  • Lead the development, validation, and implementation of COA instruments and endpoints.
  • Support client-facing COA endpoint strategy projects for Consulting teams.
  • Lead regulatory interactions with FDA/EMA for COAs.
  • Direct the use of Digital Measurement Plans, eCOA, and PED analytics.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to expand COA utility and impact.
  • Mentor and develop scientists in COA methodologies and best practices.
  • Represent IQVIA at scientific conferences and industry consortia.
