Job summary

Signaturit Group, a Namirial company, hires a Head of IT for France to lead the on‑premise infrastructure, coordinating with group standards and cross‑country teams. The role combines hands‑on implementation with leadership of the local IT team, ensuring continuity, security and regulatory compliance.

You will manage VMware, Proxmix, Nutanix, storage, networking and backup, drive capacity planning, and maintain runbooks while aligning with data protection and security requirements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years managing on-premise virtualization infrastructure.
• Hands-on with at least two of VMware, Proxmox and Nutanix (knowledge of all three is a strong plus).
• Solid knowledge of storage, networking and backup systems (e.g. Veeam).
• Familiarity with automation and IaC tools (Terraform/OpenTofu, Ansible).
• Experience with Linux and Windows Server operating systems in production.
• Knowledge of monitoring/observability tools (Dynatrace, Better Stack) and perimeter security (Fortinet).
• Technical-first mindset with strong communication across countries; hands-on and autonomous.

Responsibilities

What you will do at Signaturit, A Namirial company

As Head of IT for France, you will be responsible for managing and evolving the on-premise IT infrastructure of the French site, in coordination with the technology standards defined at group level (tooling, security, monitoring, backup).

The scale of the team means this role calls for a hands‑on approach: not just planning and coordination, but direct implementation and troubleshooting on virtualization infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the on‑premise infrastructure built on VMware, Proxmox, and Nutanix, ensuring operational continuity, performance, and security
• Plan and execute capacity planning, patching, upgrades, and migrations across virtualization platforms
• Lead the local IT team, distributing operational workload and providing direct technical support when needed Ensure the French infrastructure stays aligned with group standards (3-2-1 backup, monitoring, security, IaC)
• Manage storage, networking, and backup/disaster recovery systems for the site
• Collaborate with the Head of Infrastructure, Architecture & Platforms and with the other infrastructure teams (Italy, Spain) on cross‑country initiatives
• Contribute to defining operational processes and documentation (runbooks, incident/crisis management playbooks)
• Ensure compliance with the regulatory requirements applicable to a QTSP (e.g. eIDAS, NIS2, GDPR) as they relate to IT infrastructure.

What we believe should contribute to your success in this context

• Solid experience (5+ years) managing on‑premise virtualization infrastructure.
• Hands‑on, proven expertise in at least two of VMware, Proxmox, and Nutanix (knowledge of all three is a strong plus)
• Solid knowledge of enterprise storage, networking (switching, firewalling), and backup systems (e.g. Veeam)
• Familiarity with automation and Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform/OpenTofu, Ansible)
• Experience with Linux and Windows Server operating systems in production environments
• Working knowledge of monitoring and observability tools (e.g. Dynatrace, Better Stack) and perimeter security (e.g. Fortinet).
• What we're looking for a profile that is technical first, managerial second: someone who still wants to get their hands dirty
• Decision‑making autonomy and the ability to manage priorities independently
• A problem‑solving mindset in complex, critical infrastructure environments (trust services sector)
• Strong communication skills with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders, across countries.
• Fluent in French & English
