Job summary

Malt is seeking a seasoned Enterprise engineering leader to guide our FMS engineering organization across Europe, including London, Paris, and Lyon. You will manage engineering managers and staff engineers to position Malt as the global system of record for enterprise freelance workforces, spanning deployments, integrations, compliance, and AI-driven initiatives.

You will partner with Product and Design to translate strategic ambitions into a scalable platform, roadmap, and world-class

Qualifications

10+ years of software engineering leadership in Enterprise B2B SaaS.
Proven track record building and scaling organisations.
Strong product and commercial acumen focused on customer outcomes.
Experience leading distributed teams across Europe.
Excellent English, able to engage with C-suite stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Build and lead a high-performing Enterprise engineering organisation, mentoring managers and staff engineers.
Co-own the Enterprise & FMS vision with Product and Design, driving faster deployment and international expansion.
Architect and scale an API-first integrations platform with procurement, ERP, HRIS, and related systems.
Embed compliance by design across markets with secure vaults and contract capabilities.
Represent the engineering voice in client discussions, security reviews, and executive conversations.
Modernise back-office tools using AI to reduce cost-to-serve and empower teams.
Champion enterprise-grade reliability, security, and AI-native engineering culture.
