Job summary

Big Science Sweden is seeking a leader to oversee assurance activities across our observatory. You will drive risk management, lead internal audit efforts, and steer investigations as directed by senior leadership.

You will advocate for the Assurance function within research infrastructures and deputise the Director of Assurance when necessary, ensuring robust governance across programs.

Qualifications

• Experience leading risk management in a research or RI context.
• Proven track record in internal audit and assurance.
• Ability to lead investigations and provide independent assurance.

Responsibilities

• Lead Risk Management efforts in the Observatory.
• Lead Internal Audit activities.
• Lead investigations as directed by the Director-General or the Director of Assurance.
• Undertake projects providing assurance in various areas as directed by the Director of Assurance.
• Advocate for the Assurance function in research infrastructures (RIs).
• Deputise the role of the Director of Assurance where necessary and appropriate.
