GROUP SALES & EVENT MANAGER
Job Responsibilities
- Event Concept & Client Coordination: Act as the main liaison for clients, clarify event objectives, and design tailored event concepts.
- Planning, Budgeting & Logistics: Develop and manage event budgets, schedules, reservations, and vendor contracts.
- Venue Setup & Execution: Oversee venue setup, décor, staffing, and liaise with internal teams and external vendors; supervise event execution and troubleshoot issues to ensure a seamless client experience.
- Post-Event Reporting & Follow-Up: Prepare event reports, review performance, and maintain client relationships for repeat business.
- Sales & Business Development: Identify new event opportunities, prepare proposals, close sales, and represent the brand externally.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration & Administration: Coordinate across departments and manage contracts, billing, inventory, and documentation.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure health, safety, and licensing compliance, and develop contingency plans for emergencies.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Event Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in event planning, hospitality, or F&B industry (multi-brand experience is a plus).
- Strong client relationship, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to design event concepts, manage budgets, and handle logistics end-to-end.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills, able to manage multiple events and cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in MS Office/Google Workspace; knowledge of BEOs, CRM, or POS systems is an advantage.
- Creative, solution-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays according to event schedules.
- Professional presentation with high customer service standards.
- Existing network with vendors, suppliers, and industry partners is an advantage.
- Fluency in English (spoken and written); additional languages are a plus.
- Candidates based in Bali are preferred.
