Job summary

Mistral is building a sovereign AI cloud for Europe. The role focuses on delivering a serverless container platform that runs AI apps, MCP servers, APIs, and managed workers on our metal, with zero-to-thousand scaling and end-to-end control over scheduling and routing.

You will write Go, own core architecture, and collaborate with product teams to ship a platform that developers trust to deploy AI workloads at scale.

Qualifications

• Shipped production systems in Go.
• Experience building container/workload platforms (orchestration, scheduling, isolation, routing).
• Deep Linux knowledge: namespaces, cgroups, image layers, page cache.

Responsibilities

• Build the container platform end to end: image delivery, placement, request routing, scale-up, scale-to-zero across CPU and GPU.
• Make cold starts a solved problem with snapshotting, prewarming, image-layer caching.
• Treat AI workloads as the normal case: GPU-backed containers, streaming responses, long-lived connections.
• Write Go and own the architecture and key implementation decisions.
• Partner with Product Managers to translate platform decisions into a deployable product.
