Evonik is seeking a seasoned Global Project Manager to lead capital projects, ensuring engineering excellence, budget adherence, and timely hand-over to Operations at the Lauterbourg site in France. The role requires deep chemical/process knowledge and strong leadership across cross-functional teams.

Fluent in French and English; German is an asset. You will coordinate internal and external maintenance activities, optimize energy use, and drive continuous improvements within the plant while

Qualifications

• University degree in Chemical or Mechanical engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the field.
• French and English fluency, German an asset.
• Basic experience of coordinating the work of others.
• Acts independently to apply comprehensive understanding of the business environment and objectives developing solutions while providing guidance and training to others.

Responsabilités

• Ensures Safety and environmental protection within the production unit.
• Global Project Manager for Capital projects, responsible for engineering and technical realisation, project costs, budget compliance, schedule, and hand-over to Operations.
• Plan and complete the scientific and technical process fundamentals of the unit to be planned.
• Planning, coordination and monitoring of maintenance activities.
• Management and coordination of internal/external maintenance and technical service departments and providers.
