Evonik is seeking a Global Project Manager to lead capital projects within its production units. The role focuses on engineering and technical realisation, controlling project costs, maintaining schedules, and ensuring regulatory compliance and smooth hand-overs to Operations.

The candidate should hold a university degree in chemical or mechanical engineering, have at least five years of experience, and be fluent in French and English; German is considered a plus.

Qualifications

• University degree in Chemical or Mechanical engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the field.
• Fluent in French and English; German an asset.
• Basic experience coordinating the work of others.
• Ability to work independently and guide others.

Responsabilités

• Ensures Safety and occupational health as well as protection of the environment for all employees and contractors within the production unit.
• Global Project Manager for Capital projects, responsible for engineering and technical realisation, project costs, budget compliance, project schedule, regulatory compliance and permitting, construction, installation, commissioning and hand-over to Operations.
• Complete the scientific and technical process fundamentals (including chemistry, process technology, property data, material data, process analytics, etc.) of the unit to be planned.
• Ensures Planning, coordination and monitoring of maintenance activities.
• Management and coordination of internal/external maintenance and technical service departments and providers.
