Capital Projects Manager – Industrial Manufacturing

Job summary

Hexcel seeks a Project Manager (M/F) to lead major capital projects in France (and Germany) from concept through hand‑off. You will drive site process and infrastructure improvements, manage budgets, and provide technical leadership across engineering disciplines.

You will communicate with stakeholders at all levels, deliver projects on time and on budget, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical or Civil engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years in related field or project engineering teams.
• Experience in industrial manufacturing facilities and reading drawings.

Responsibilities

• Manage capital projects up to $50M, including scoping, estimating, and leading cross‑functional teams.
• Coordinate procurement and vendor/contractor interfaces; develop RFQs and evaluations.
• Ensure safety, quality, schedule, and budget adherence across projects.
• Develop technical specifications with site teams and ensure conformance to local specs.
• Oversee engineering drawings, PFDs, P&IDs, and detailed designs.
• Provide project status updates and formal management presentations.
