Job summary

Grünenthal Group in Paris is seeking a senior scientific communications leader within Global Medical Affairs. You will own and evolve the global scientific communications strategy for early pipeline and launch assets, aligning with medical strategy, and ensuring a consistent scientific voice across geographies.

Qualifications

• Advanced scientific or medical degree (MD, PharmD, PhD or equivalent) strongly preferred; other qualifications with substantial industry experience may be considered.
• Significant experience in pharmaceutical/biotechnology or Medical Affairs communications roles with strategic responsibility.
• Proven track record in global scientific communication and publication strategies, platforms, and external engagement.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead global scientific communications strategy across early pipeline to launch assets.
• Create coherent scientific communication architecture connecting narratives, publications, and education.
• Ensure consistent evidence-based scientific voice across assets, geographies, and channels.
• Translate disease biology and clinical data into clear scientific narratives and roadmaps.
• Collaborate with Global Medical Leads and cross-functional teams to anticipate evidence needs.
• Integrate publication planning with development timelines and external engagement.
• Identify gaps/opportunities for evidence generation and stakeholder understanding.
• Lead medical affairs congress communications and data dissemination strategies.
• Support launch readiness and lifecycle priorities without promotional accountability.
