Lever, Inc. is seeking a Global Payroll Implementation Country Lead based in France.

This role combines deep Dutch payroll knowledge with project leadership to drive successful multi-country payroll implementations and live operations, in a fully remote, asynchronous environment defined by ownership and impact. You will guide projects from discovery through parallel runs and first live payroll, mentor colleagues, and collaborate with product/technology teams to optimize platforms and processes

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in payroll
• Expert knowledge of Dutch payroll legislation and local requirements
• Proven experience leading or delivering payroll implementations
• Strong proficiency with payroll systems and tools (e.g., SAP, Excel, Google Sheets)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills
• Analytical and structured problem-solving mindset
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, international environment
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Experience working remotely is an advantage

Responsabilités

• Act as payroll subject matter expert for the Netherlands, guiding local processes and implementation considerations
• Participate in sales calls, handovers, and client kick-offs to clarify payroll requirements
• Lead global payroll implementation projects from inception to live payroll
• Develop and maintain detailed implementation plans, timelines, and priorities
• Serve as main contact for customers and internal stakeholders throughout the lifecycle
• Establish standardised payroll processes, plans, and documentation
• Maintain records of decisions and requirements for BAU delivery
• Monitor KPIs and SLAs, identify risks and improvement opportunities
• Provide support during/after implementation and coordinate with teams
• Mentor Payroll Generalists and collaborate with teams across engineering and operations
• Work with product/tech teams on platform improvements and testing
