Job summary

BYD Europe is seeking a Logistics Coordinator based in Courbevoie, Île-de-France, to coordinate outbound loading and shipment of passenger cars across Europe. You will monitor vessel schedules, manage European logistics vendors, and ensure smooth customs clearance while driving cost-efficiency and service improvements.

The role requires 1–3 years in logistics, a degree in a related field, and fluency in French and English.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations.
Experience in automotive logistics is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and logistics reporting tools.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced international environment.
Fluent in French and English; Chinese is a plus.

Responsibilities

Coordinate outbound loading & shipment of passenger cars, track vessel schedules, ETA updates for vehicle consignments.
Manage daily collaboration and evaluation for European local logistics vendors, push for service improvement and cost-efficiency.
Monitor port arrival, customs declaration & clearance progress; identify document risks and avoid delays.
Troubleshoot on-site logistics incidents including cargo damage, port congestion, yard stock discrepancy, transshipment issues; drive problem closure with vendors.
Maintain shipment & inventory data accuracy, produce regular logistics status reports, highlight risks and propose countermeasures to leadership.
Align with planning, sales and quality teams to match regional delivery KPIs and optimize end-to-end vehicle delivery.
