Job summary

The Estee Lauder Companies Inc. in Paris is offering a Global Packaging Engineer Assistant Internship. You will join the packaging team to lead workstreams, develop action plans, and support cross-brand packaging development across projects.

Ideal candidates are engineering students specializing in packaging or materials, with 6 months of project experience and fluency in English and French. R&D experience is a plus; Paris office with up to 2 days of remote work per week.

Qualifications

• Engineering student in packaging, materials or industrial engineering.
• First 6-month experience on project development, in a large group or industry.
• Experience in R&D is a plus.
• Excellent command of English and French.

Responsibilities

• Lead a transversal workstream and develop action plans.
• Support cross-brand packaging development projects to meet customer needs.
• Develop packaging concepts with support groups to hit design, quality, cost, and manufacturability goals.
• Report status of development issues to the supervisor.
• Initiate and evaluate package tests and preliminary costs.
