Job summary

The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. in Paris is seeking a global packaging engineer assistant for an internship.

You will help lead cross-brand packaging development, coordinate workstreams, and support testing, feasibility studies, and cost assessments. Ideal candidates are engineering students with exposure to packaging, materials or industrial engineering, fluent in English and French, and with early project experience.

Qualifications

• Student from an engineering school specializing in packaging, materials or industrial engineering.
• First 6 months of project development experience within a large group or industry.
• Experience in R&D is a plus.
• Excellent command of English and French is a must.

Responsibilities

• Lead a transversal workstream and develop action plans.
• Supplier visits and reporting; packaging testing plan elaboration and follow up.
• Impact assessment; feasibility and cost evaluation for packaging projects.
• Support Packaging Development across brands and learn the package lifecycle.
• Utilize computer technology and coordinate with technical support groups.
