Edenred is seeking a Global Merchants intern for its Benefits & Engagement line. Based at Edenred HQ in Issy-les-Moulineaux, you will analyze merchant data, support strategy and contribute to new value-added services across multiple countries.

The role offers international exposure and collaboration with key stakeholders. You will work with Product, Marketing, IT, Operations and Finance to pilot solutions, track metrics, and help animate the merchants community in over 30 countries.

Qualifications

• Master from a top business or engineering school, looking for a gap-year or a final-year internship.
• A first successful internship in consulting, e-commerce payment or similar fast-paced environment is a plus.

Responsabilités

ORGANIZATION & ROLE

Edenred's Benefits & Engagement (B&E) Business Line serves millions of users and a vast global network of merchants. It is Edenred's largest business line, representing around 65% of Group revenue, and combines meal vouchers, gift cards, and employee engagement platforms.. Today, Edenred is the global market leader in Benefits & Engagement, offering over 100 programs across more than 30 countries.

The B&E Global Merchants team is based in our global headquarters and supports all Edenred B&E Business Units to become a trusted marketing & service platform for merchants. Our mission is to build the best merchant networks and to drive sustainable revenues from both our core activities and from developing new merchants services.

As a member of the B&E Global Merchants team, you will gain international exposure and recognition by supporting Business Units and partnering with key stakeholders.

You will report to the Merchants Strategy, Growth and Transformation Director

KEY OBJECTIVES

The Global merchants strategy & new service development intern will have 3 core missions:

• Strategy: support the Merchants team

o Build and conduct analyses, such as benchmarking (internal and competitive), financial modelling, etc.

o In particular, lead key data requests across all our countries to fill our internal merchant data base. Perform portfolio analysis to fuel adaptation of our merchant strategy

o Prepare and participate in meetings to present insights and reporting to the B&E Global Merchant team and its community at large

o Manage projects in part or in whole to make sure they are on time and on target

o Use data, tools, and digital platforms, including generative AI, to support recommendations and decision making

o Merchant monitoring:

• undefined

• New service development (Value Added Services)

o Research merchant needs: conduct market analysis, collect merchant feedback, and identify key pain points and opportunities

o Drive competitive watch: conduct desk research across our 29 BU to perform competitive search on merchant services (service, product, pricing). Restitution to our top merchant leaders.

o Ideate & launch new merchants services: oversee end-to-end development and deployment of new value-added services aligned with merchants' business objectives

o Ensure cross-Functional Alignment: work closely with Product, Marketing, IT, Operations, and Finance teams to pilot and scale solutions

o Track success: define metrics to monitor adoption, engagement, and ROI of new services while driving continuous improvements

Merchant community animation

o Gather successful projects from BUs to highlight and help in animating the merchants community with +30 countries

o Provide best-practices sharing in key topics to enhance BUs projects

o Prepare and animate community meetings, structure the drive to enhance tools and practices for the whole community

REQUIRED SKILLS AND PROFILE

Education & experience

o Master from a top business or engineering school, looking for a gap-year or a final-year internship

o A first successful internship experience in consulting, e-commerce payment or similar fast-paced environment is a plus
