Opella is seeking a Global Lead Buyer for Medical and Scientific to design and implement global procurement strategies across Medical and Scientific activities, coordinating with Global and Local teams to maximize value.

The role covers 13 sites and 4 development centers with a worldwide footprint and a spend of about €50M; you will lead end-to-end sourcing, negotiate contracts, and drive cost optimization while ensuring compliance.

Qualifications

• 6–10+ years in indirect procurement, ideally in Life Sciences.
• Global environment experience and complex stakeholder management.
• Project management with global suppliers.

Responsabilités

• Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing initiatives (RFPs, negotiations, contracting).
• Drive cost optimization and value creation across Medical and Scientific spend.
• Collaborate with Science Hub stakeholders and regional teams for alignment.
• Manage supplier relationships and governance to ensure continuity.
