MicroPort CardioFlow, based in Clamart, France, seeks a Strategic Buyer to manage key purchasing categories within our Global Purchasing organization. You will define sourcing strategies and lead supplier selections to support cost competitiveness and continuity, across an international network.
The role requires 5+ years in strategic purchasing, strong negotiation and supplier management skills, and fluency in English. Travel may be required as part of duties in a global context.

As we continue to strengthen our Global Purchasing organization, we are looking for a Strategic Buyer to join our team in France (Clamart) or Italy (Saluggia).
In this role, you will manage key purchasing categories and supplier relationships within an international environment. You will define and execute sourcing strategies that support our business priorities, combining cost competitiveness, supplier performance, risk management, innovation and business continuity.
You will work closely with R&D, Supplier Quality, Supply Chain, Manufacturing and other key stakeholders across our international organization.
Define and implement mid- and long-term category strategies aligned with the Global Purchasing strategy. Monitor supplier markets, technologies and industry trends to identify sourcing opportunities and anticipate future needs.
Identify, assess and select the most appropriate suppliers worldwide. Lead RFx processes, negotiations and business awards, and optimize the supplier base to support competitiveness, innovation and business continuity.
Develop strong and sustainable relationships with suppliers. Monitor supplier performance and, together with Supplier Quality and internal stakeholders, drive improvement plans and address operational issues related to quality, delivery and performance.
Drive cost reduction and value creation initiatives through negotiation, value analysis, alternative sourcing, supplier development and technology transfers. Contribute to improving the total cost and competitiveness of the assigned portfolio.
Proactively identify and mitigate supplier risks related to capacity, single sourcing, financial health, obsolescence and supply continuity. Develop appropriate mitigation and alternative sourcing plans.
Partner closely with R&D, Supplier Quality, Supply Chain, Manufacturing and other functions throughout product development and lifecycle management. Work across our international organization and engage regularly with suppliers and manufacturing sites.
