Job summary

Bank of America in Paris is seeking a professional to join Global Markets Credit (GMC) to support credit underwriting and ongoing portfolio management for the ABSF portfolio. The role involves evaluating transaction structures, collateral, and cashflow stress, as well as influencing credit approvals and monitoring after close.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics preferred.
• Prior experience in financial services including credit risk management, underwriting, structuring, loan origination, or public rating agencies is desirable.
• Familiarity with securitization structures and macroeconomic drivers is preferred.
• Experience reviewing lending or debt transactions including securitization or collateral-based lending facilities and derivatives is beneficial.
• Excellent analytical skills, initiative, urgency, and willingness to take on responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Participate in transaction screening, term negotiation, due diligence of seller/servicers, and credit approval process.
• Review transaction elements including structure, collateral, and cashflow stress analysis.
• Post-close, monitor deals and portfolios and exercise credit approval authority for amendments, waivers, renewals, or extensions.
• Assist in preparation and review of credit approval memoranda.
• Support periodic reporting, policy updates, risk rating scorecard maintenance, regulatory inquiries, limit requests, and ad hoc projects.
