Tencent is seeking a six-month full-time intern in Paris to support its Cloud legal and compliance team. Under the supervision of senior counsel, you will gain hands-on experience in in-house practice.

You will conduct research on EU law, data protection, AI, and tech regulations; assist in drafting and translating contracts; maintain documentation; and help prepare briefs. The internship offers exposure to multinational operations and a collaborative environment at Tencent.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Law, from China or Europe, or currently pursuing.
• Strong legal research, analytical, and drafting skills.
• Good understanding of EU law and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent English and Mandarin; French is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and in teams in a fast-paced setup.
• Familiarity with AI tools and legal research databases is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Support Tencent Cloud's international legal and compliance matters.
• Conduct legal and regulatory research on cloud services, data protection, AI, cybersecurity, and related regulations.
• Monitor EU and other jurisdictions; prepare updates and internal briefings.
• Assist in reviewing, drafting, proofreading, and translating contracts and other documents.
• Prepare internal memoranda, research notes, and compliance guidance.
• Organize legal documentation and assist with additional projects.
