Job summary

SUEZ seeks an Insurance Manager to oversee risk and insurance for Design and Build projects within the E&C unit. The role requires coordinating with Finance, Legal, Commercial and operations to embed insurance requirements into contracts and bids.

Fluent English, a Master’s degree in Law or Engineering, and proficiency with Excel and RMIS are essential. You will manage coverage, monitor claims, and build an international insurance network across projects.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Law or Engineering.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and RMIS.

Responsibilities

• Manage insurance matters for a diverse international portfolio of Design and Build projects.
• Conduct risk assessments considering project characteristics, geographical exposure, contractual provisions and stakeholder responsibilities.
• Define insurance strategies and provide insurance cost estimates during tender and bidding phases.
• Work closely with Finance, Legal, Commercial and operational teams to integrate insurance requirements into project decisions and contractual negotiations.
• Coordinate insurance placement and brokerage services where required, and assess adequacy of third-party coverage.
• Regularly review insurance policies to ensure coverage aligns with evolving project risks and contracts.
• Identify coverage gaps and arrange endorsements or adjustments.
• Monitor outstanding claims and oversee external claims management services.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to support effective claims handling and recovery.
• Develop and maintain a network of Insurance Correspondents across operations.
• Maintain insurance documentation and reporting via RMIS and SharePoint.
