Job summary

The Recruitment Company is actively seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join its team in France, overseeing HR activities across Europe and the APAC region while working closely with the US-based Human Resources team and the company’s global operation.

The successful candidate will be hands-on, fluent in French and English, with strong knowledge of French employment law and exposure to UK HR practices, able to work independently within an international business.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years' experience in a generalist HR role.
• Fluent in both French and English (essential).
• Strong knowledge of French employment law (essential).
• Exposure to UK HR practices and employment legislation (required).
• Experience preparing employment contracts and managing employee relations.
• Comfortable working autonomously and across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary HR contact for approximately 50 employees across France, Europe and APAC.
• Manage day-to-day HR operations, employee relations and general HR enquiries.
• Provide guidance on French employment law, compliance and HR best practices.
• Prepare employment contracts, offer letters and other HR documentation.
• Support the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, performance management and offboarding.
• Advise managers on employee relations, absence management and disciplinary procedures.
• Collaborate with US-based HR leadership to implement and maintain consistent HR policies.
• Support international HR initiatives, particularly relating to UK employment practices.
