Delve Search - Global Search Consultants is supporting a leading semiconductor equipment manufacturer in France to appoint a Field Service Engineer. The role covers installation, commissioning and servicing of high-precision systems across France and Europe, with autonomy and international exposure.
You will receive extensive product training, perform on-site and remote support, travel regularly to customer sites, and collaborate with engineering teams to improve products and service quality,
Qualifications
- Experience as Field Service Engineer in semiconductor equipment or related high-tech fields.
- Electrical, mechanical or mechatronic engineering background.
- Strong fault-finding and hands-on troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage customer relationships.
- Willingness to travel regularly across France and Europe.
- Fluent English; French is a plus.
Responsabilités
- Install, commission and optimise advanced semiconductor equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical and software faults.
- Perform preventative maintenance, repairs and calibration.
- Provide onsite and remote technical support to customers.
- Deliver operator training and technical guidance after installations.
- Complete service documentation and follow quality processes.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve products and customer support.
