Harmattan AI in Paris seeks a Field Deployment Engineer - Global Lead to build and lead our deployment function for ground systems across sites and contracts. You will define strategy, create playbooks, and scale local teams while coordinating with engineering.

This role combines deep technical ownership with field leadership in a demanding, high-stakes environment, requiring international travel and strong documentation skills. English fluency is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in field deployment, systems integration, or technical commissioning.
• Experience leading or building a field/operational team.
• Hands-on hardware/software integration in operational environments.
• Strong systems-level understanding across hardware, software, and connectivity.
• Ability to document and build structure from scratch.
• High autonomy and composure in high-stakes settings.
• Fluent English; other regions languages are a plus.

Responsabilités

• Own worldwide deployment strategy, docs, and playbooks.
• Guide local deployment teams and hire/train as needed.
• Be the technical authority across hardware and software.
• Oversee commissioning, testing, and acceptance.
• Coordinate with engineering to relay product requirements.
• Develop training and enablement to grow autonomy.
• Produce deployment docs and maintain records.
