Harmattan AI seeks a Field Deployment Engineer - Global Lead to own and scale our deployment function for ground systems worldwide across hardware and software. You will define strategy, build local teams, and serve as the interface between field deployment and engineering.

You will lead across sites and contracts, driving rigorous documentation, testing, and acceptance processes while maintaining high standards in a demanding, high-stakes environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of field deployment, systems integration, or technical commissioning experience.
• Proven experience hiring or building field/operational teams.
• Hands-on hardware/software integration in operational environments.
• Strong systems-level troubleshooting across hardware, software, and connectivity.
• Ability to develop structure and documentation from scratch.
• High autonomy in time-sensitive, high-stakes settings.
• Excellent documentation and organisational skills.
• Willingness for frequent international travel and English fluency.

Responsabilités

• Own worldwide deployment strategy and create playbooks for all sites and contracts.
• Guide local deployment teams and manage hiring, training, and quality.
• Serve as senior escalation point for field hardware/software issues.
• Oversee system configuration, testing, and acceptance through sign-off.
• Act as primary interface between field deployment and engineering teams.
• Develop training and enablement plans to grow local teams.
• Produce deployment documentation and maintain records across sites.
