Aldebaran Group seeks a Project Engineer to support the project management team on major industrial projects in France or internationally. The role is based in the Paris region and requires fluency in English and French.

You will assist in analyzing contractual clauses, coordinate technical work across mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and process engineering, and manage PFDs/PIDs with the Process Department. Experience in oil and gas a plus.

Qualifications

• Engineering background with ability to analyze contractual clauses and write technical specifications.
• Proven ability to coordinate multiple technical aspects of a project while maintaining alignment with contract requirements.
• Strong communication and team management skills are essential.

Responsabilités

• Assist Lead Project Engineer in analyzing contractual clauses and drafting study specifications.
• Coordinate project technically, aligning mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and process engineering.
• Manage PFDs and PIDs with Process Department, ensuring coherence with standards.
• Contribute to optimizing studies for cost, deadlines, quality and safety using standard project management methods.
• Address technical issues and conduct risk studies (HAZOP, AMDEC, ARA, EVREX).
• Maintain technical documentation and ensure consistency with contractual requirements and standards.
• Support evolution of standards and capitalization of best practices throughout the project.
