ALDEBARAN Group in Paris is seeking a Process Engineer to contribute to large-scale international EPC projects in energy, gas and energy transition. You will perform sizing calculations, run simulations, and develop process documentation while collaborating with draftsmen and other disciplines.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in process safety engineering in oil, gas or energy, strong P&ID knowledge, proficiency in simulation tools such as HYSYS, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of confirmed experience in process safety engineering within the oil, gas, or energy industry.
• Strong understanding of P&IDs: piping, equipment, instruments, control and safety loops.
• Proficient with simulation tools.
• Knowledge of fire and gas detection systems, and fire protection.
• Mastery of international safety codes and standards.

Responsabilités

• Performing sizing calculations for lines, equipment (pumps, exchangers, separators…), and instruments (control valves, safety valves, etc.).
• Running process simulations using HYSYS.
• Writing design bases, process descriptions, material/energy balances, and utility balances.
• Producing and updating PFDs and P&IDs in coordination with draftsmen.
• Preparing process data for technical datasheets of equipment and instruments.
• Developing fluid, line, equipment, and instrument lists.
• Writing safety logic diagrams.
• Participating in technical interfaces with other disciplines.
• Contributing to communication and documentation in English.

YOUR MISSIONS

• Performing sizing calculations for lines, equipment (pumps, exchangers, separators…), and instruments (control valves, safety valves, etc.).
• Running process simulations using HYSYS.
• Writing design bases, process descriptions, material/energy balances, and utility balances.
• Producing and updating PFDs and P&IDs in coordination with draftsmen.
• Preparing process data for technical datasheets of equipment and instruments.
