Aldebaran Group in the Lyon region seeks an Industrial Planning Engineer to manage planning of multi-million-euro projects in the piping scope with a strong technical dimension. You will define and update schedules, track progress, and coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction and site teams, ensuring coherence across disciplines.

English proficiency required; field visits to sites are possible.

Qualifications

• Engineering or technical degree with a specialization in Project Planning / Project Controls.
• Proven experience as a Planning Engineer, ideally on complex industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of complete industrial project lifecycle: engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, testing.
• Field experience appreciated, piping experience highly desired.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in planning tools (MS Project, Primavera P6).
• Autonomous, rigorous, analytical, with the ability to take a strategic overview and strong communication skills with project and site teams.
• Professional proficiency in English

Responsabilités

• Define and update overall and detailed project schedules, integrating engineering, procurement, prefabrication, construction, and testing activities.
• Establish and track physical and financial progress indicators, drafting planning assumptions notes, and producing project summaries for steering committees.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously (€8 to 20 million), prioritizing actions and identifying risks.
• Ensure coherence between different technical disciplines, particularly piping.
• Challenge project stakeholders to optimize solutions and project execution.
• Participate in technical coordination between engineering, procurement, construction, and testing.
• Occasionally visiting sites to monitor progress and liaise with operations teams.
