Job summary

CEVA Logistics, based in Courbevoie, France, seeks a Master Customs expert to lead national and international customs operations, ensuring compliance and regulatory intelligence across borders. The role focuses on supporting projects and teams, reviewing contracts, resolving disputes, monitoring regulatory changes, and collaborating with legal, insurance, and business development to safeguard interests.

You will interact daily with customs networks and the Legal team to review customs clauses

Qualifications

Master's degree in customs law or a related field.
Minimum 5 years' experience in a global customs role or with a specialized customs consultancy (advisory and/or litigation).
Fluent in English.
Knowledge of international customs law and customs procedures.
Mastery of all customs clearance processes and declarations.
Ability to absorb and apply theoretical frameworks (Incoterms, customs tariffs, customs codes, international customs regulations, etc.).

Responsibilities

Support and assist the network: support customs teams on all customs-related issues and help organize teams based on regulations, workload and skills.
Review contracts by applying the Group’s defined rules and ensuring interests are protected.
Monitor disputes and report to the legal department and/or insurance as needed.
Inform management about regulatory changes impacting the organization and any significant risks.
Stay informed about industry developments and customs regulations; collect, analyze and disseminate information.
