Job summary
Siegfried in France is seeking a Global Automation Lead to define and govern the corporate automation blueprint across the global CDMO network. You will transform sites into integrated manufacturing facilities and manage lifecycle and obsolescence of plant-floor automation equipment.
Reporting to local Site Automation Heads and collaborating with IT/OT and engineering teams, you will harmonize standards, enable cross-site tech transfers, and drive risk mapping, upgrade planning, and capital
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in automation/engineering with software focus.
- 12–15 years in automation leadership in regulated biopharma/CDMO.
- Experience across international multi-site automation projects.
- Deep knowledge of CSV, GAMP 5, 21 CFR Part 11 and data integrity.
- Able to communicate complex software architectures to non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Design and drive the global automation roadmap across sites.
- Standardize automation architecture to enable cross-site tech transfers.
- Audit lifecycle state of process control systems and plan upgrades.
- Partner with project delivery during FEL phases for capital projects.
- Collaborate with IT/OT to bridge software and hardware in manufacturing.
- Lead global site automation heads and set performance standards.
