Harmattan AI in the Orly area is seeking a Senior Automation & Industrialisation Director to translate engineering designs into robust, scalable automated production systems and to lead a diversely skilled team.

The role owns the automation roadmap, DFM/DFA with Engineering, and the production-line architecture, including workstations, tooling, fixtures, test equipment, and ramp-up—aiming to scale outputs and expand internationally.

Qualifications

15-20+ years of relevant industrial experience, ideally in aerospace/defence, electronics, or mechatronics, with proven production scale-up

Responsabilités

Industrialisation of new products from prototype to high-volume serial production.
DFM/DFA and Design for Automation with Engineering.
Production process and line architecture.
Workstations, tooling, fixtures, test equipment and semi-automated systems.
Automation concepts, supplier selection, commissioning and ramp-up.
PFMEA, process validation and production-readiness activities.
Cycle-time, capacity, line balancing and yield optimization.
Identify correct automation level based on volume, maturity and ROI.
Standardisation and replication of production systems across sites.
Develop manufacturing technology roadmap for higher volumes.
