Deezer in Paris is offering a 6-month General Accounting Internship starting February 2027. You will support day-to-day accounting, assist monthly closings, treasury reconciliations, and VAT submissions under the Senior General Accountant.

This internship is ideal for a Master's student in Accounting, Finance, or Audit, fluent in French with good English, and comfortable using Excel and ERP like Sage. You will work both independently and with the team in a diverse, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Master's degree specialized in Accounting, Finance, or Audit
• Fluent in French with a good level of English (written and spoken)
• Excel is second nature; Sage/ERP experience is a strong plus
• Rigor, autonomy, and ability to manage priorities and deadlines

Job Description

We are currently looking for a General Accounting Intern to join our accounting team from February 2027 for 6 months. As part of our Finance department, you will be involved in day-to-day accounting operations and the monthly closings, working closely with the Senior General Accountant.

You will assist the team in the following areas:

• Daily accounting: assist with daily accounting entries and the upkeep of supporting documentation and working papers

• Monthly closings: assist with the closing tasks of each period, in line with the closing calendar

• Treasury management: perform bank reconciliations regularly and monitor treasury operations

• Tax and audit support: assist with VAT reconciliations and submissions

Continuous improvement: support the documentation and optimization of accounting processes, apply internal control procedures
This is a 6-month internship based in Paris, mandatory.

Qualifications

This role is excellent for a person:

• Enrolled in a Master's degree specialized in Accounting, Finance, or Audit

• Who speaks French fluently, with a good level of English (written and spoken)

• For whom Excel is second nature; experience with Sage or another ERP/accounting tool is a strong plus

• Who demonstrates rigor, autonomy, and a genuine ability to manage priorities and deadlines

• Who is comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a team

First experience in an accounting or finance role (internship or apprenticeship), helpful but not mandatory
