Deezer is seeking a Financial Analyst Intern to join the Financial Planning & Analysis team (Music Rights, Staff & other costs) in Paris. You will help analyze Deezer's performance, support budgeting, and assess projects from a Finance perspective. Position based in Paris mandatory, 6-month internship starting in January 2027.

Responsibilities include month-end reporting, royalties analysis, financial modeling, and business partnering to support rightsholder negotiations and feasibility.

Formación

• Master's program, ideally specialized in Finance
• You speak French fluently
• Excellent written and oral communications skills in both French and English
• Excel has no secret to you
• Analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset
• Ability to work independently

• Prepare data inputs for royalties and expenses calculations
• Support monthly royalties reporting and analyze variances
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis and P&L follow-up
• Update business plans and provide monthly financial analysis
• Contribute to yearly forecasting process
• Model negotiations and feedback with rightsholders, ensure feasibility

Job Description

We are currently looking for a Financial Analyst Intern to join our Financial Planning & Analysis team (Music Rights, Staff & other costs), which is in charge of analyzing Deezer's performance, elaborating and monitoring the budget, assessing operational projects from a Finance perspective, and accompanying operational teams in their various projects.

=> Position based in Paris mandatory, 6-month internship starting in January 2027

Monthly closing:

• Assist with month-end financial reports (P&L, accruals, KPIs)
• Prepare the data inputs necessary for royalties and expenses calculations

Royalties monthly reporting & analysis

• Support the monthly royalties reporting
• Analyze variances (vs. last year, last month and budget)
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis P&L follow-up

Financial modeling

• Update business plans and provide monthly financial analysis
• Contribute to the yearly forecasting process

Business Partnering

• Contribute to the modeling of rightsholder negotiation and provide feedback
• Help ensure operational feasibility and excellence

Qualifications

This role is excellent for a person with:

• Master's program, ideally specialized in FinanceYou speak French fluently
• Excellent written and oral communications skills in both French and English
• Excel has no secret to you (PowerPoint is a plus)
• Analytical skills and aproblem-solving mindset
• Ability to work independently
