CMA CGM in Marseille is seeking a senior accounting professional to lead IFRS and statutory financial reporting, leveraging SAP for daily bookkeeping and OneStream for IFRS reporting.

You will supervise peers and act as the main contact for statutory auditors, ensuring compliance with Group standards and internal controls. Collaboration with tax and IT project teams will be required.

Qualifications

• Masters in Finance/Accounting required.
• 7+ years of experience in accounting/finance.
• IFRS knowledge and ERP experience (SAP) preferred.

Responsabilités

• Prepare accounting and IFRS financial statements in compliance with IFRS and statutory standards within Group deadlines.
• Day-to-day bookkeeping using SAP; monthly IFRS reports via OneStream, including intercompany reconciliations and statutory tax declarations.
• Serve as main point of contact for statutory auditors during annual audits and contractual audits.
• Produce forecasts and analyze information to ensure quality and compliance with Group principles and methods.
• Monitor internal controls and propose improvements; implement recommendations.
• Oversee tax and accounting positions and stay updated on regulatory changes.
• Participate in IT and regulatory projects, system integrations, and new tools.

Job description:

THE ROLE

Your main mission is to prepare the accounting and financial statements in compliance with IFRS and statutory standards, within the deadlines set up by the Group.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• You will be responsible for day-to-day bookkeeping using SAP, monthly preparation of IFRS reports using Onestream (the Group's reporting tool), including reconciliation of intercompany accounts within your scope, preparation of statutory statements, tax declarations and tax returns;
• You will supervise the same work carried out by other employees and by external firms;
• You will be the main point of contact for the statutory auditors in connection with their audit of the annual financial statements and any contractual audits;
• You may be required to produce and analyse forecasts and ensure the quality of the information, particularly in terms of compliance with the Group's principles and methods;
• You will monitor the correct application of Group procedures, suggest improvements and implement recommendations in terms of internal control;
• You will monitor the tax and accounting situation;
• You may be required to take part in different projects (new regulations / development of IT tools / integration of new systems).

PROFILE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• You hold a Masters’ degree in Finance, Accounting;
• You have at least 7 years' experience;
• You will be able to work on technical subjects in general accounting, cost accounting and taxation;
• You have ideally started your career in an accounting firm, have experience of IFRS and have knowledge of an ERP system such as SAP;
• You are autonomous and have a sense of initiative;
• You are rigorous, responsive and flexible in your work;
• You have good communication skills;
• English required.
