Job summary

AXA Group is seeking an AI Engineering Lead to drive production-grade GenAI initiatives across AXA entities. You will design scalable AI systems, mentor engineers, and govern costs and safety while collaborating with stakeholders to deliver measurable business value.

You will engage with business units, define guardrails, and lead end-to-end GenAI programs in a complex, regulated environment. Hybrid Paris-based role offering global impact.

Qualifications

• 5+ years delivering AI/ML-enabled products or GenAI platforms in production.
• Proven experience with GenAI governance, observability, and cost management.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, delivery and continuous improvement of AI/GenAI solutions.
• Mentor AI engineers and coordinate with data scientists, PMs and security teams.
• Define reusable patterns, guardrails, and cost governance for AI systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Drive adoption, value delivery, and measurable business impact across AXA entities.
• Establish evaluation methods, performance metrics and risk controls.
