Jobtailor in Île-de-France seeks a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and manage Hybrid Cloud environments spanning public clouds and on‑premises. You will build Infrastructure as Code with Terraform/Terragrunt, and automate CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI to ensure operability and high availability.

You will collaborate with DevOps and platform teams, optimize costs with FinOps practices, and document architectures and procedures for complex environments.

Qualifications

Experience implementing Hybrid Cloud architectures across cloud and on‑prem environments.
Proficiency with Terraform/Terragrunt and IaC practices.
Strong knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps, and GitOps, especially GitLab CI.
Hands‑on with Kubernetes, OpenShift, OpenStack, and Docker.
Experience with Python scripting, Ansible, and SQL.
Familiarity with Postgres and cloud data architectures.
Understanding of observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
Knowledge of Vault, IAM, Artifactory/JFrog, and Artifact Registry.

Responsabilités

Design, implement, and administer Hybrid Cloud infrastructure (public cloud + on‑prem).
Improve cloud platforms for operability, performance, and availability.
Develop and maintain IaC with Terraform/Terragrunt.
Automate CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI.

Create documentation, runbooks, and procedures.

Design, implement, and administer a Hybrid Cloud infrastructure combining Public Cloud environments with on-premises infrastructure
Contribute to the implementation and optimization of Cloud platforms to ensure their operability, performance, and availability
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Terragrunt
Automate and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Cloud projects using GitLab CI
Ensure the operational stability of infrastructure in a GitOps-based environment
Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and DevOps teams to define and implement technical best practices
Implement and maintain advanced monitoring and alerting solutions
Write and maintain technical documentation, implementation procedures, user guides, and operating procedures
Contribute to Cloud cost optimization and the implementation of FinOps best practices
Participate in a recruitment process including discussions with a Recruitment Manager and a Sales Manager, as well as a meeting with the client

Requirements

Strong command of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its core services
Solid knowledge of Hybrid Cloud and on-premises environments
Proficiency in Terraform/Terragrunt and Infrastructure as Code practices
Proficiency with Kubernetes, OpenShift, OpenStack, and Docker environments
Strong command of CI/CD, DevOps, and GitOps practices, particularly with GitLab CI
Proficiency in scripting languages, particularly Python, as well as Ansible and SQL environments
Knowledge of Cloud Data architectures and relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL
Proficiency with observability tools: Google Cloud Observability, Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK
Knowledge of Vault, IAM, Artifactory/JFrog, and Artifact Registry environments
Knowledge of Cloud networking environments: VPC, Load Balancers, and Private Service Connect (PSC)
Awareness of FinOps challenges and Cloud cost optimization
Ability to work in complex, distributed, secure, and highly available technical environments
Team-oriented mindset and ability to collaborate with a variety of technical stakeholders
Autonomy, attention to detail, and ability to work across the entire infrastructure lifecycle
Analytical mindset and ability to propose improvement and optimization solutions
Strong communication and technical documentation skills
Higher education in computer science, infrastructure, Cloud, or an equivalent field
Significant experience with GCP/Cloud and DevOps environments
Experience with Hybrid Cloud infrastructures and production environments requiring high availability
Experience in Data and/or AI environments is a plus

Demonstrates expertise in Hybrid Cloud infrastructure design and implementation, with a strong command of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Terragrunt. Capable of optimizing Cloud platforms for performance and availability while ensuring operational stability in a GitOps-based environment.
