Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Senior DevOps/SRE to lead the cloud infrastructure platform. You will ensure platform reliability, security, and scalability for multiple teams, and drive automation across CI/CD and deployment tooling.

The role requires extensive experience with cloud and on‑prem environments, Kubernetes orchestration, and strong communication skills to explain complex topics to diverse audiences. Security clearance may be required depending on projects.

Responsabilités

• Join the Cloud & Infrastructure Platform team to own the company’s technical foundation.
• Ensure reliability, security, and flexibility of the platform for dev, deploy, and security teams.
• Manage and improve software development forge tools.
• Build and enhance the technical foundation for cloud management and Kubernetes orchestration.
• Manage and expand monitoring coverage across projects.
• Support SREs embedded within development teams in their use of the platform.
• Provide secure modules for provisioning cloud infrastructure for on‑premises / air‑gapped environments.

Description du poste

• Join the Cloud & Infrastructure Platform team, responsible for the company’s technical foundation


• Ensure the reliability, security, and flexibility of the platform used by the development, deployment, and security teams


• Manage and improve software development forge tools


• Build and enhance the technical foundation for cloud management and Kubernetes orchestration


• Manage and expand monitoring coverage across projects


• Support SREs embedded within development teams in their use of the platform


• Provide industrialized and secure modules for provisioning cloud infrastructure, easily adaptable at low cost for on-premises / air-gapped environments


• Support the security team in implementing security best practices


• Perform operational maintenance of the platform and its components


• Collaborate with the development, deployment, and security teams

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in a similar role or in a position with significant DevOps responsibilities


• Strong knowledge of, or interest in, software development forge tools


• Experience working with cloud (AWS) and on-premises infrastructure


• Experience installing on-premises air-gapped environments is a plus


• Experience working with Docker and an orchestration system


• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines


• Broad technical expertise spanning infrastructure, development, networking, and security


• Proficiency in, or strong interest in, automation using Terraform and Ansible


• Ability to explain technical topics to a variety of audiences


• Strong organizational skills, autonomy, and the ability to produce reports


• Due to potential access to information classified as a national defense secret, the successful candidate will be required to undergo a security clearance process
