Gopaxo is hiring a Frontend Software Engineer in Paris to contribute to their product team. Responsibilities include developing web and mobile interfaces for travel bookings and enhancing user experience.

# Frontend Software Engineer (M/F)Contract: Full-time (permanent)Location: ParisTeam: HybridCompensation: €50,000 – €68,000 gross per yearApply to this roleContact## About the roleYou're joining the product team to design and ship the web and mobile interfaces used by travellers who compare and book their train, bus, carpooling and plane tickets on Gopaxo. Our users expect instant search, frictionless booking and a site that runs as smoothly on an old smartphone as on a 4K screen.You work day-to-day with our designers, Product Managers and backend developers. You challenge the mockups, suggest simplifications and actively contribute to the product roadmap.## Responsibilities* Develop and evolve the search and booking funnel with Next.js 14 + strict TypeScript + Tailwind CSS.* Optimise Core Web Vitals and perceived performance (LCP, INP, CLS) on desktop and mobile.* Design a coherent, typed and documented design system, shared across marketing, search funnel and booking.* Set up the end-to-end, unit and visual tests that let us ship fast without regressions.* Collaborate with SEO and marketing for pages that are indexable, fast and convert.## Who we're looking for* At least 3 years of frontend experience on production React projects.* You master strict TypeScript, modern React patterns (Server/Client components, Suspense) and are familiar with Next.js App Router.* You care about accessibility, performance and typography; you can hold a conversation with designers and defend a product viewpoint.* You are comfortable with modern tooling: ESLint, strict TypeScript, CI, bundlers, Playwright.## Nice to have* Experience on a high-SEO-traffic site (e-commerce, travel, media).* Hands-on with Tailwind CSS + shared design tokens.* A/B testing experience and product analytics (Amplitude, PostHog, Mixpanel).## The team* Contrat CDI temps plein, basé à Paris avec 2 à 3 jours de télétravail par semaine.* Mutuelle famille Alan prise en charge à 100 % par l'entreprise.* Carte Swile pour les titres-restaurant et abonnement transport remboursé à 100 %.* Budget matériel libre (MacBook Pro, écran 4K, périphériques) à votre arrivée.* Pass illimité sur tous les trains européens comparés par Gopaxo pour vos déplacements personnels.* Séminaires d'équipe deux fois par an, dans une destination desservie par nos partenaires.## Apply to this roleSend your CV to [e-mail]
