BlaBlaCar in Paris is seeking a Front-End Web Engineer to join the Door to Door team. You will own frontend features, iterate quickly, and scale the web platform.

As the sole web engineer on the team, you will mentor another engineer, collaborate with product and design, and contribute to the Front-End Web Engineering Chapter. You will work on passenger and driver experiences and help shape the core domain.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Typescript, HTML5, CSS3 and React.
• First experience with tooling like Git, Docker, Node.js and observability solutions.
• Full working proficiency in English.
• Fit with BlaBlaPrinciples and a collaborative, fast-growing culture.
• Ownership and AI-assisted coding mindset.

Responsabilités

• Work closely with product manager, designer and engineers to meet business needs.
• Design, develop and maintain high-performance features within BlaBlaCar product.
• Ensure development follows best practices and architecture principles.
• Collaborate with teams for smooth integration with existing systems.
• Participate in design and code reviews and share expertise across teams.
• Contribute to Front-End Web Engineering Chapter and mentor others.
• Leverage AI tooling to boost development efficiency.
