BlaBlaCar is seeking an Engineering Manager for the Post-booking squad to lead frontend and backend engineers in building a scalable After-Book platform. You will partner with a Product Manager, Product Designer, and Data team to define vision and roadmap, driving technical excellence across the company.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a management position with people leadership.
• Experience building consumer-facing products with backend/frontend stacks.
• Strong English communication skills; bridge technical and business constraints.
• Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban).

Responsabilités

• Act as main engineering advisor to the Product Manager and stakeholders.
• Plan and deliver complex cross-team projects with performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with Product Managers from OTA, Bus, Train, and Carpool teams to align deliveries with business goals.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop engineers through regular feedback.
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement using modern tools.
• Show management experience with proven people leadership.
• Demonstrate a technical background across backend (Java, Spring) and frontend (Kotlin, Swift, React, TypeScript) stacks.
• Communicate effectively in English to bridge technical constraints and business requirements.
• Maintain agile processes and drive efficient, high-quality delivery.
