Job summary

Ledger is reshaping the People & Operations Experience team in Paris, taking ownership of French payroll and the employee lifecycle. You’ll start with a proper handover and grow toward independent payroll management while documenting processes and driving continuous improvement.

You will work with Finance, Talent Acquisition, HRBPs, C&B and our provider ADP, and explore expanding into international payroll as you grow. Ledger offers hybrid work and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of French payroll experience on monthly cycle
• Solid knowledge of French social legislation (URSSAF, DSN) and payroll tool experience
• Rigour: close the month on time and accurately
• Builder's instinct: document as you go and improve processes
• Comfort working in English in a multicultural team
• Curiosity about international payroll and widening scope

Responsibilities

• Own French payroll and run the full monthly cycle: data collection, absences/leave, inputs, controls, validation, payslip checks
• Prepare and submit statutory filings (URSSAF, DSN, IJSS/Net-entreprise, etc.)
• Manage variable pay and contractual changes; build VPI file for ADP Decidium
• Collaborate with Finance on transfer files, cost reporting, headcount tracking and variance analysis
• Handle day-to-day equity payroll declarations (stock options/BSPCE) as you grow
• Manage benefits, meal vouchers and provider relationships
• Keep Workday data accurate and compliant
• Document and improve processes being rebuilt; contribute to cross-functional People projects
