Tecan seeks a Technical Support Specialist in France (Lyon). You will respond to European customer calls, initiate on-site interventions, and document service processes in SAP.

The role requires a background in Life Sciences or technical engineering, plus experience in service/helpdesk and strong English skills. You will work in a multicultural setting with flexible hours and direct impact on customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Requires degree in Biology, Computer Science, Technical Engineering, or similar; or proven equivalent know-how.
• Several years of laboratory or Life Science industry experience.
• Experience in service industry and helpdesk/call center work.

Responsabilités

• Respond to customer calls and issues for European customers and distributors.
• Coordinate on-site interventions or repairs and maintain transparent communication.
• Check customer satisfaction via monthly feedback calls.
• Document service processes in SAP.
• Provide immediate responses to service issues including installation, operation, repairs, calibrations, maintenance, warranty, software/firmware levels, and documentation.
• Log all issues in SAP and track until resolution.
• When dispatching, consider travel time, costs, priorities, and contractual obligations.
• Monitor adherence to dates, deadlines, and actions; ensure completion.
• Plan and monitor maintenance and calibrations.
• Notify EU Helpdesk Manager of critical issues, complaints, and deadlines.
