Job summary

Marble is building an AI-native operating system to help independent installers scale their businesses and reduce administrative burden. You will own the technical stack, collaborate with the CEO, and translate installer needs into practical software solutions.

As founding technical lead, you will shape the architecture, deploy cloud-based services, and drive product decisions. This is a hands-on, high-impact engineering role with equity and a clear path to full-time participation.

Qualifications

• Solid CS foundations with data structures, algorithms, systems design, testing and architecture.
• Ship production apps from front end to back end using component-based frameworks.
• Experience building APIs and data pipelines in Python; FastAPI, Django, or Flask helpful.
• Develop production AI processes including agent workflows, RAG and structured output parsing.
• Deploy and monitor apps end-to-end on modern cloud platforms; design evolving data schemas.

Responsibilities

• Architecture ownership: own the full technical stack including Ionic Angular / React, FastAPI services, Supabase, Cloudflare Workers, and LLM integrations.
• Shipping software: write, test, and deploy code as a hands-on engineer on the product.
• AI/LLM integration: ship capabilities to augment installer workflows from surveying to documenting compliance.
• Product collaboration: work with installers and customer success to convert needs into working software.
• Technical decision-making: advise on tools, libraries, patterns, and hiring as the team grows.
